One Force Terminator painting progress

These guys are getting there, slowly but surely.  After a bit of a break, I've got back to them and I imagine I may have finished them this week.  Pretty exciting as this will be the first completed unit for the army (typical of me to go right in with an Elites unit).  For posterity, I've included below models in varying states of completion so I can see the progress they take to get there.

First up is a highlighted but otherwise untouched model.  I may still go back in and add a second stage highlight on the helmet and other yellow details, but this is where I've been leaving things so far (see here for the painting guide).

Next up is a "battle damaged" figure.  For this guy, I've used (the old) Astronomicon Grey as the light colour for all the damage, with black as the base colour, for the rest of the figures, I've settled on using a  slightly lightened Mechanicus Standard Grey for the chips on the armour as I think the AG is just a little too light on this guy.

Finally, here is a weathered and based figure.  Weathering is achieved with a heavily watered down Calthan Brown (very heavily watered), and some strategic drybrushing with Tallarn Sand, the same two colours I've used for the basing, which is aimed to tie the model to the base.

Hope you like these guys, and I'd love to hear what you think.  Cheers - Andy
